4 Ingredients Protein Pops

Let’s face it, in the Summer all we want is anything cold and creamy – smoothies, frozen yogurt, iced coffee, and repeat. We definitely enjoy all of those things to the fullest this time of year and make it a point to still keep them healthy and full of ingredients that will continue to fuel our bodies. We believe there are plenty of ways to indulge and satisfy sweet cravings without sacrificing healthy and clean eating. These 4 Ingredient Protein Pops will do just that and are packed with protein for the best treat you could have on a hot day.

We’re big advocates on having a source of protein in every meal or snack, especially if you’re a highly active person like ourselves. This ensures that you’re feeding your muscles, helping in the recovery process between workouts, and feeling more satiated. Our go-to dessert is often a version of ice cream but made with protein powder, ice, a little frozen banana, and a dash of milk for a cold, creamy treat. These popsicles are a spin on that and fun to eat because who doesn’t love popsicles! All you have to do is blend vanilla protein powder (we used SFH whey, but you can use a plant-based protein as well), frozen banana, frozen coconut meat, a little milk, and ice and you have a thick, vanilla cream that’s perfect for freezing in popsicle molds. Enjoy these after a workout or during a hot Summer night and know that you’re indulging is something that’ll fuel your body!


Makes 10 Popsicles


½ cup vanilla protein powder (recommend: SFH Whey or VEGA Sport)

¾ cup unsweetened almond milk

½ frozen banana

¼ cup frozen coconut meat

4 ice cubes


  1. Place everything in your blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into your popsicle molds and freeze.
  3. Treat yourself this Summer!
